The new BS6 emission norms will be implemented from the 1st of April 2020. All cars post this date will have to follow more stringent emission regulations. BS6-compliant engines will have to run on BS6 fuel, as new-generation engines running on low-quality fuel emit many toxic gases. Moreover, avoiding using BS4 fuel on BS6-compliant cars is best.
